About the project:

Hey! This is the first game demo I've ever made. NOTE that it's a very small and short prototype that I made last summer. I'm a game artist working in the game industry, and I started this project because I wanted to challenge myself and create something for my portfolio.

The game is pretty simple. I'll be honest, I'm not the best writer and I'm definitely not the best coder, so this was a huge challenge for me. I did use AI to help with the coding, and honestly I probably wouldn't have gotten this far without it. Everything else was made by me: the art, story, music, and even most of the sound effects (the rest are royalty-free assets I found online).

I took a lot of inspiration from Professor Layton series for the gameplay. I wanted to combine it with some Disco Elysium and Wolf Among Us aesthetics.

I'm not sure if I'll continue this project or move on to something new. Either way, I wanted to release this demo so I'd have at least one finished game project out there before starting the next thing.
